Burney's Manufacturing - Mercer's Water Turkey complete set

Complete set of all 17 catalogued colors of the small size Mercer's Water Turkey. Lures were made by John Burney in Tampa, Florida from 1958 - 1961. They were numbered from 000 to 016. Hinged plastic boxes have a paper insert showing color code number. The first of the boxes is lure 000 and is not stamped. The other 16 inserts are correctly stamped. These are wood lures and there are very few complete color sets known to exist. The lures are in new condition and came from a family member.
